Infrastructure Delivery (Project Manager I)
Location: Dayton, OH (Service Building)
Work Model: Primarily in‑person
About the Role
The Associate Capital Project Manager role is designed for early‑career professionals who want hands‑on exposure to large‑scale utility and infrastructure projects. You will support experienced project managers while building foundational skills in project planning, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.
This role offers a clear development path into full project management responsibility within a structured PMO environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support planning and execution of assigned capital projects and project phases.
- Maintain schedules, cost forecasts, documentation, and PMO reports.
- Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, construction management, and contractors.
- Assist with procurement activities, scope development, and material tracking.
- Track risks, issues, and action items; escalate as appropriate.
- Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- 0–3 years of experience in construction, utilities, engineering, or infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Exposure to project management principles (CAPM or PMP‑track mindset a plus).
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to SAP or scheduling tools is a plus.
